- Sébastien "Buck" Côté is an Attacking Operator featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, introduced in the Operation Black Ice DLC expansion alongside Frost. A Medium Armored Operator, Buck's unique gadget is an under-barrel mounted shotgun known as the "Skeleton Key", which can be used for creating breaches with ease.The Skeleton Key, an under-barrel mounted 12 gauge shotgun, allows Buck to swiftly breach and target hostiles. By changing hand positions on his assault rifle, he is able to quickly switch from ranged to close-quarter combat. The Skeleton Key is also an effective breaching tool to destroy barricades or create a line of sight.

A Medium Armored Operator, Frost's unique gadget are three Sterling MK2 LHTs. They are mechanical traps that can be used to incapacitate enemies.Equipped with a floor mounted, rubber and metallic spring loaded leg-hold trap, Tina Lin Tsang uses a non-lethal means of immobilizing her prey. The sleek design of the “Welcome Mat” allows for seamless deployment without extensive camouflage. A completely mechanical device that is undetectable by electronic scanners.

- Medium Armored Operator, Blackbeard's unique gadget are two Rifle-Shields. These shields protect his head from a few bullets, allowing a higher survivability rate at the cost of mobility and recoil control.The TARS Mk 0, Transparent Armored Rifle-Shield, or simply "Rifle-Shield", is a prototype based on the armor shield technology for tank gunners. It allows Blackbeard to increase his mobile protection without diminishing his field of vision.

- A Medium Armored Operator, Valkyrie's unique gadget are three Mk2 "Black Eye" Gyro Cams. They're portable sticky cameras that can attach on almost any surface for increased surveillance.The Gyro Cam Mk2 "Black Eye" is a quick deployment sticky camera that can stick to any surface. Once deployed, the entire defending team can view them in the same manner as normal cameras. These cameras have a wider field of view, capable of rotating 360 degrees when placed on the ground, and can look around faster than normal cameras. The image is in color with a blue tint. As with normal cameras, they may also be destroyed by the enemy team.

- A Medium Armored Operator, Jackal's unique gadget is the Eyenox Model III, which can track enemy footprints and can identify its targets.Inspired by the FBI’s Quick Capture Platform, the Eyenox Model III was created to offer a mobile tracking device able to both identify and trail a person’s footprints in real-time. This forensic tool was first used to track terrorist cells back to hidden cave complex in the mountains of Afghanistan. Equipped with advanced computer vision, the Eyenox detects invisible details relating to footfall and weight distribution so that you can identify and stalk your target.

- Pulse features a low armor rating but has high mobility and his unique gadget is the HB-5 Cardiac Sensor which detects the heartbeats of nearby enemies through obstacles.While working in the FBI biometrics program, Jack developed a portable device capable of tracking a suspect’s blood flow and heartbeat. The portable cardiac sensor proved a useful non-invasive interrogation tool as the operator was able to monitor the stress level of suspects and reliably determine their truthfulness.The sensor was then equipped with a higher resolution screen and programmed to determine the relative distance of targets. The modified Cardiac Sensor was successfully implemented into the FBI SWAT team’s surveillance counter-measures where sniper spotters and negotiators have effectively used the device to locate hostiles behind cover or from a secure location.

Gu mines were inspired by the sharp punji sticks used during the Vietnam War. Rubbed with toxic plants or feces, the stakes served to slow down enemy troops by causing severe infections in their camp. Similarly, Gu mines inject a toxin that injures your opponent and limit their speed. With its cloaking ability, your enemy will be forced to make quick decisions. Starting with one Gu mine, your inventory will increase until it reaches a maximum of eight mines. Since time is on Lesion’s side, you will be able to lure your mark into desperate rushes.

The M2 Flamethrower turns this unit into a good combat support or even assault unit. Flamethrowers are excellent against infantry who are hiding in buildings or behind cover, destroying them very rapidly (even more rapidly than infantry in the open!). Therefore, while another infantry unit suppresses the enemy, or convinces them to seek cover, the Engineer Squad can move in and finish them off.
