地球造陸運動(非洲)

• 贊比西河中游的維多利亞瀑布，此處的玄武岩–岩漿急速冷卻
• 1億8千萬年前，100萬立方公里的岩漿噴發。地函熱柱撕開泛古陸(盤古大陸)。
• 1億年前錢幣蟲(巨型單細胞)在北非海中沈積成石灰岩，被埃及人拿去造金字塔。
• 當時北非被撕裂成左右兩部分，中間的淺海中陸生哺乳動物演化出龍王鯨。
• 克拉通可深達 200 公里，底部可以生成鑽石。
• 非洲由五塊古老的克拉通構成，北非左右兩塊(西非克拉通)，中部非洲左右兩塊(剛果克拉通、坦尚尼亞克拉通)，南非一塊(卡拉哈里)。
• 倫蓋火山產生高鈣(4倍)高磷(9倍)，其下是坦尚尼亞克拉通，再下方是一條地函熱柱，此地函熱柱造成東非大裂谷，日後將再撕裂非洲。
