第一週:08/28-09/01

  • 3D列印原文:Humble Velocipede, a 3D printed version of Theo Janssen's famous Strandbeest sculptures
  • 本週進度:The STL files for this 3D printing project...out of a total 120 parts.
  • 大意:這個3D打印項目的STL文件，是2012年Kickstarter成功運行的延續，已經在Thingiverse免費下載。 這些部件大多以真實的解剖部件命名，便於參考和組織。 對於該演示版本，溫度設置為220攝氏度，打印速度為每秒0.8毫秒。 大部分“韌帶”結構需要30分鐘到1小時的打印時間，“胸牌”需要2個小時，各種“大腿”和“小腿”共9小時。 共有86個3D打印件，共120個零件。

  • 本週進度:After 3D printing is complete...will fit together and walk as it is supposed to.
  • 大意:3D打印完成後，需要處理相當複雜的裝配過程。 各個板需要在中央曲軸結構上開槽，然後將10個大腿/脛部分裝配在一起形成行走機構。 確保孔是正確的尺寸，也許使用一點油潤滑將確保Velocipede滑順，並按照它應該行走。
