  • Review what you have learned複習所學。
  • 用SV... so that SV...句型造一個跟英文讀本相關的句子,把他寫在下面:
    1. 例句:Mrs. Beckland had prepared some projects for those students who didn't focus on their shcoolwork so that they were able to earn some extra credits.貝克蘭老師給那些不認真的學生準備了一些專題,以便他們可以為自己的學習爭取一些額外的分數。

  • Sentence Patterns to learn
    1. SV...that SV... that 後面接的句子稱為名詞子句,通常是在講一件事情。
      • 例如: I heard that you were looking for a button.我聽說你在找一顆鈕扣。
      • 例如: Frog thought that Toad's jacket was beautiful.青蛙想說蟾蜍的夾克很美。
    2. Wh- ... SV... 為感嘆句型,是一種強調語氣,wh-後面就是要強調的東西。


  • Grammar to learn: 形容詞(adj.)字尾:-er,表示比較,規則:
    1. 在形容詞後面加er
    2. 如果CVC的字,從複字尾子音在加er
    3. 如果是e結尾的字,直接加r
    4. 三個音節以上的字,在形容詞前面加more,
      • 例如These flowers are beautiful. Those flowers are beautiful.
      • 比較一下,這些花比那些花還漂亮。
      • 英文寫成These flowers are more beautiful than those flowers.


  • Grammar to learn: mine vs. my 中文:我的
    1. mine指的就是我的東西,所以後面不要再加一個東西。
    2. my指的是我的什麼,所以後面要加一個東西。
    3. 例如:This is my pen. The pen is mine.
