I am writing from Taiwan to request clarification and permission regarding the animated short film “One Human Family, Food for All”, produced for Caritas Internationalis and originally published on YouTube:

I would like to use this film for non-commercial educational and public-interest purposes in Taiwan, particularly to introduce the message of sharing and mutual assistance represented by the “allegory of the long spoons.”

Before doing so, I would like to obtain clear permission from the appropriate rights holder(s).

* whether there are any restrictions on translation, subtitling, downloading, hosting, or redistribution;

* and whether an official high-resolution (preferably 1080p) master file is available for an authorized educational use, rather than downloading a compressed copy from YouTube.

影片是 國際明愛(Caritas Internationalis,天主教會的人道主義和發展組織)製作的，它透過遍佈200多個國家的164個國家成員機構，致力於改善生活在貧困中的人們的生活。

全球反飢餓宣傳動畫，該活動於 2013/12/10 發起，2015/12/10 正式結束。


內容是「長湯匙寓言」。源自有名的寓言「天堂與地獄的長筷子」（The Long Chopsticks / The Allegory of the Long Spoons）。

故事通常是： 

天堂和地獄都有一桌豐盛食物，每個人手上的筷子卻有一公尺甚至兩公尺長。
地獄裡的人拼命想把食物送進自己嘴裡，結果誰也吃不到；
天堂裡的人則用長筷子餵坐在對面的人，所以大家都吃飽。
